The specs are yet to be finalised, but one thing is for sure, project shield will run the Google Android OS, which will bring a serious competition to iOS, the game is changing. The handheld powerhouse also provides remote access to games installed on a PC, including many steam titles, the users will be able to play any PC game on the Shield within the same local wi-fi network. The device seems to pack a great boast of advantages for gamers looking for gaming on the go, especially those who complain about consoles not being able to play PC games. Getting excited for the pricing and release date ? Well,  Project Shield will be shipping in Q2 of this year, i.e 2013 and the pricing is also to be announced. Stay tuned.
