Top 5 Emulators for the Nexus 7 (2013)
Having an Android device, how can we resist it's power of game emulation ? There are many inexpensive or even free emulators that make it possible to play many emulated games on the android devices as many of us have been hearing. Of course, there are emulators on an iPhone but their quality is just poor and they are not yet officialy supported. Said that, Android being a smartphone platform for game emulators, it has been making it's users very much happy, what's great than playing Playstation 1 and Nintendo DS games on your android device ? So, I decided to make a list of top 5 emulators you should get for your Nexus 7 right now. Here is the list :
Want to turn your smartphone into a portable gaming device, get FPse. It's a Playstation 1 game emulator that'll enjoy you to play all the classic playstation titles on the go. That's right it'll turn your android device into a portable Playstation 1.
This is definitey a must try ! Play retro DOS games and enjoy some of the classic ones like Fallout, Elder Scrolls II : Dawnguard and many more. You should really own this emulator, it's totally worth it.
P.S. There are many DOS games that'll give you a great experience on your Nexus 7.
Ever wanted to play Nintendo DS games on your Nexus 7 ? Well , this emulator is currently under development and it's open source, you can play some Nintendo DS titles like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon lately, but this emulator shows possibility of playing all major Nintendo DS games in the near future so it's a must have. Remember, it's still in development.
This is an excellent gameboy advanced emulator, cheats are supported and you can get a full game boy Advanced gaming experience. There must be definitely many classic GBA games you would wanna try, just like to old times or never played on a gba before ? Try this GBA emulator.
The reason I mentioned this emulator at last is because it is still in the early stages and I wanted you to be aware of this emulator, it will run PSP games on your android device in the future. Here is their official official website. You need to be patient and wait till this is fully working, you can still play homebrew games on this emulator. Here is a compatibility list for all the games currently playable till now, the emulator is still being developed. Once it becomes fully developed almost any PSP game can be played on the Nexus 7. If you contradict me why not do a spec comparison between the Nexus 7 and the Sony PSP ? 1GHz Quad Core CPU vs 333 MHz CPU respectively. The Google Nexus 7 is more powerful which obviously indicates that it can run PSP games, even the emulator developer is confident enough of this.
These emulators will turn your Nexus 7 or any powerful Android device into a portable gaming powerhouse. There are yet many other good emulators but I mentioned the top 5 for your Nexus 7.
Steve Jobs - The Movie
Open Road Films had made a deal with Five Star Feature Films to distribute a new movie called jOBS based on the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs. Wondering who'll play the role of jobs ?
Seeing the above picture you might have guessed correctly, it's Ashton Kutcher. The movie is directed by Joshua Michael Stern, written by Matthew Whitely, shot by Oscar- winning cinematographer Russell Carpenter and produced by Mark Hulme, jOBS details the major moments and defining characters that influenced Steve Jobs on a daily basis from 1971 through 2000. "We set out to find the perfect partners to present jOBS to audiences worldwide, and we feel we have found one with Open Road. They were as impressed as we were with Ashton Kutcher's inspiring and unforgettable performance as Steve Jobs and are excited to distribute the picture in the U.S.," Mark Hulme of Five Star Feature Films said in a statement. Apple fans will surely want to watch their icon Jobs behind the scenes. Won't they ?

The Playstation Vita in Question
When the vita was first announced and demonstrated at the E3 conference, it seemed to be a new piece of tech that would give a potential for special types of games on the vita and it seemed to the handheld gaming community that it would shove up all the other handheld consoles out there, but surprisingly it failed to light up it's sales charts, which has given a rise to questions about the vita's future and Sony still continues to deny accepting anything wrong with the vita or maybe unwilling to admit. Vita had promised a huge library of games right off the bat and moreover Sony had vita as a weapon against it's primary competitor, the Nintendo 3DS. Even I began predicting the Vita to be successful but I was wrong. Now, the question is how did the Vita fail to satisfy the consumers ? Just after the Vita's release the clouds covering Vita began to outcast, there were complains about the vita's expensive memory cards and lack of substantial memory. Sony was so betting on Vita to be it's champion that it refused to drop the price of the Vita among it's other competitors, iOS, android as well as the Nintendo markets and then the games didn't quite shape out the way we all were hoping that they would, there was a lot of online gaming uncertainty and outdated asynchronous online play too. Vita's online play should have been a selling point rather than something to be abused and complained about, it was very disappointing. Even the biggest First Person Shooter, Call Of Duty Black Ops Declassified, proved to be a junk for the vita, even though Vita had the capability of dual analog sticks and strong specifications, which should have given a console quality performance but it's a shame it did not even Assassin Creed III : Liberation had a way lot bugs in vita, it surely disappointed the Assassins Creed series fans who were looking on to it to be satisfying when it came to portable gaming. There are also many lags in the games you play on the Vita. So, somehow the vita failed console quality on the go, which it had promised. Now as we enter 2013, there is still a lack of upcoming games for the vita and it does not have a huge library of games as promised. Nintendo 3DS and the smartphone platforms seem to be emerging above the Vita, in gaming on the go. Even though Sony claims supporting the Vita in the future but the vita has become a failed prophecy. It seems that the vita is going on a slow path, but as I said the Vita has led to many possibilities in the realm of portable gaming. Nintendo seems to have dedicated customers and a fairly good number of games that sell well and a rapidly expanding base and Sony with the Vita doesn't have any of that. 2013 isn't looking great for vita seeing it's past neither has it been great till now.
