Selling your own eBook

So you are considering selling an e-Book, eh ? Sounds quite a business. To start off, I would like to advise you to use Open Office it's a free open source software, that'll allow you to publish your e-book in various formats, like you make a simple file and you can convert it into pdf and many other formats, sound flexible enough, right ? One of the best things about open office is that it's .odt format is supported on almost all the sites like lulu.com, amazon.com and so on. You can count on open office as your best e-Book writing and publishing tool, you can create headings, generate your e-Book's Table Of Contents etc. So, we're done with the software part, now to sell an e-Book I would consider writing about 20-32 pages for a minimum sized eBook and eventually the price does depend on the content of the book but generally it should be around US$2.99 to about US$4.99 for a book of about these much pages, you know there's a lot of competition out there. Now you might be wondering, “ Do I need an ISBN ? ” , well it's your choice but let me tell you that you can sell without an ISBN on almost all sites like Amazon. Try to keep your eBook well organised so that other people don't go through the difficulty of navigating through your eBook, who would want difficult times ? Make sure that you give the reader's wanting to read more, when you make the previews, don't just snap in a random page from your eBook but rather put up the pages that keep them wanting more so that they eventually buy your book. Don't forget to have a relaxed self-check for any errors in your book, you could also fancy getting a proof reader here. They say that, the first impression is the last impression, make sure that the cover page of your book is nice-looking and the preview is awesome, now you can relate the saying to the words said, people generally judge a book by seeing it's cover page and it's preview, pricing too comes but you need to take care of each and every thing. Don't forget a catchy title, you can't get their attention if your book doesn't show up in the search results. Make your description to about 70 words, but be careful, people are the most sensitive when they read an eBooks description. Don't forget about fonts, this is the area where people don't pay attention, no one reads something that looks scribbled or untidy instead they prefer a crisp and clear text, so give them the best font, it should be readable of medium size, not be too light or too dark, why not use the internet and do a little research here ? Why should you blog ?

All right, so many of us must have been hearing everybody setting up their blogs these days, it has become kind of a trend. Well, in fact, yes it is fitting into the scene. Blogs are a great way to express your opinions, now think that if there is a popular blog then of course there'll be many people reading it, think what standard they can set to products by just reviewing them. Blogs are also a great way to get people engaged, you know people with alike minds have a common thinking. But now, these days people just set up blogs to get money from it, that's right they want to monetize as soon as possible, without realising that they are set off track of providing quality content. Most people create blogs to get monetized, but that doesn't mean that you do the same too. In my opinion, you should create a blog to give yourself a platform and provide quality content to the people and then you'll be engaging fans automatically. A spark can ignite into a flame similar is with good quality blogs. Sites like TechCrunch, Cnet etc have strived to provide quality content instead of focusing on monetizing. Blogs can also be a great source of marketing, say you have many people engaged in a site and poof, you release a new product, instead of starting from nowhere you'll at least have a bunch of people buying the product and reviewing it. There are many ways in which you can benefit the people as well as get benefitted yourself by Blogging, seems Tit for Tat, right ? Let me start off by getting to the topic that all of you must be eagerly waiting for, making money with quality content. So, these days most of the blogs monetize by usually having ads by Google adSense on their site and mind it the Google adSense earnings are quite good if you have the fan base. You can also start affiliate marketing using your blog, sites like click bank pay you a commission for each product sold via your blog. So it is clear that you can get money by creating a blog, which is the most obvious reason people get really hyped up for creating one. Another thing is that you get the spotlight, as you provide quality content, people will begin to view and discuss about your blog. Come on, we all must have one time or the other be saying that what's the Cnet rating of the product, how does it scale up on verge etc. So you're certain to become the centre of attraction by creating a good blog. You also might get good opportunities from companies to do their job on a blog or you can also become an article writer, just show the people your blog when they want to see your sample work. Well, basically that's what all a blog will make you capable of doing. It seems great, but don't expect to get big soon, it takes time and I literally mean it. Creating a blog can also seem to be a very trendy thing, look at all the famous people, most of them have their blogs, hardly some people without blogs, so you seem to be catching up on the trends here by creating a blog. All this sounds cool but don't think all this is a very easy to accomplish task because in fact it isn't. But, don't worry, this book will help you out in creating a successful blog of your own, you need to have a passion for that, of course. Like they say, there's nothing possible without will power. You also need to be patient because all this does not happen at once, it takes time.

The Classic Gta San Andreas

So today after 2 years again I revisited and played the Grand Theft Auto Classic , Gta San Andreas. I got a feeling just like the old times when I used to play San Andreas, you know just messing around with cheat codes, playing missions and laughing on some funny dialogues and stuff and of course, the mods are a great add-on. There may be many great and more graphical intense games than San Andreas but San Andreas always gets me up and playing. I am not saying it is the greatest game but you can count on it as a real time passer. Like, making your gang, dating babes, maintaining your body, discovering easter eggs and for sure visiting area 51 and area 69 labs,  fuelling up with your jetpack and having one hell of an amazing joyride.

When I feel like really high on money and I wish to bet it on something, I go to the Casino and chance on it of course there are also the strip clubs like there's one called the Pig Pen where you can just relax and offer yourself some pleasure with a private lap dance or blow your money off on strip dancers, totally worth it. San Andreas has the biggest Gta map out till now, so exploring the whole of it can be quite time consuming which is interestingly good. San Andreas provides many different environments, for example when you go from a city to another city you can see that the people and the police cars are different in fact, the whole place itself. The countryside is worth visiting if you are dying to get a scenery. The weather keeps changing, quite natural right? You should really try and do every story mission in the game you just get the san andreas experience, you'll need to try it out to really understand what I mean, I'm saying this because most people just download the save file and miss the experience and don't know how to do half the stuff like make a gang etc. And what's great than getting a toned body with a sexy haircut, an awesome tatto and going to the beach with your camera? Here is a teaser of an UFO in San Andreas, which of course comes with a mod. I would say that San Andreas is the most moddable gta game. There's much more but it would be great if you play it yourself instead of saying that this is an old gta game, if you have never played it before. 

So, San Andreas is the game that'll give anyone the Gta Experience. Now, as I talk of this, rockstar games has announced that it is going to release Gta V this year and it'll have new and amazing features and also that the maps of vice city, san andreas and gta IV will be combined, quite a delight for a new year surprise, at least for me. Really looking forward to it.

Valve to Release New Steam PC

Accord­ing to Valve’s Gabe Newell, a new type of PC will be appearing next year which aims to com­pete with the liv­ing room con­soles. These PCs will be advised to be con­nected to your TV and accredit you to run steam to play all your game titles. The ‘Steam PC’ will not be as flex­i­ble and open-source as a nor­mal PC due to it’s func­tion in getting adjustments of bridg­ing the gap amid play­ing games on a con­sole and play­ing games on a PC, but Valve anticipates that this is some­thing that peo­ple will absolutely wish for their liv­ing apartment and will com­pete with added com­pa­nies such as Sony with their next gen­er­a­tion con­soles. We are going to have to accept waiting until next year for additional information.Stay tuned.
